  1. Yikes, not great but prefer that over the GFS right now for me .
  2. It was looking good for Hampton Roads until it drove the low through Greenville, NC. Not what we want to see here. Good hit for the interior though
  3. Seems like the trends so far today continue to look good for maybe at least a 2-4 inch snow down here in Hampton Roads. If we're not going to get an amped low south of Hatteras, I'll take a weaker slider. We had some pretty decent snows in January 2022 from some sliders on back to back weekends!
  4. I'd take that in a heartbeat here in Norfolk! Especially after only getting token flakes from this last storm.
  5. Hope to at least see some flakes with the back end deformation band of storm # 1 down here in Norfolk, but dang, loving the potential of next weekend's storm!
  6. 12z GFS is a decent-ish hit for many next weekend. Probably gone by the 18z run though haha
  7. Definitely don't look at the 0z Euro lol the low transfers off the NC coast and pounds the NE states.
  8. Traveling home to Georgia (near Athens) for holidays. Would be ecstatic with that much snow there unless Norfolk gets dumped on like that while I'm gone haha
  9. 00z GFS came in a lot wetter for SE VA this run
  10. 00z ICON showing a coastal with snow in S. Virginia and E. NC for Sunday. It's been waffling between showing and not showing it recently so...
  11. Yep, just a glancing blow for the coastal areas.
  12. Annnd 12z Euro super flat, super weak, and super OTS with the weekend disturbance
  13. 00z GFS looks like it'd be another 1-3 inch storm here in Norfolk. Possibly the 3rd straight weekend with accumulating snow!
  14. 18z GFS looks like a snow to mix to rain set up for south Hampton Roads with the low hugging the coast. Need it to scoot offshore just a bit more!
  15. I'll certainly take another coastal low or slider in in Hampton Roads!
  16. Based on reports to AKQ, looks like Norfolk got between 2-3.5 inches. Here are some pics from my apartment balcony .
  17. SPC just put out this Mesoscale Discussion. Includes Tidewater and Eastern Shore.
  18. ORF just switched to snow and mixing now near downtown Norfolk
  19. If we somehow got 2 inches, I'd feel good. Not great, but good. Especially with how this thing has evolved.
  20. Not sure if it means much but AKQ had Norfolk getting into the mid 40s today for a high. We've been in the upper 30s/low 40s all day so far.
