Ryan rightfully going conservative in our state. Those 10"-16" numbers for my area by NWS were funny. Ryan is back to reality with a 6"-9" spot over Windham County.
From his FB post earlier:
"We've been keeping things conservative as the center of this storm is going to track awfully far offshore."Putting the sanity back into forecasting.
Lol

I actually think there could be an area of disappointment for a lot of SNE.
Max band will be right along the coast or near coastal front near Boston and down through the South Shore. Best low level warm advection etc. Probably the jackpot zone.
Second area is pretty far west with some nice 500-700hpa frontogenesis. In between I could see a bit of a sucker hole.
Box hammering 850-700 stuff centered near canal

Floundering weenie should look at my weenie model
https://www.weather.gov/btv/4kmwrf
Big even further west
This is not a bad model, esp at this lead w.r.t banding

Haha guess if you look at it amthat way it's right.
It Makes plenty of sense
Cape seeing 2" could be in uber Amped scenario
And LWM seeing 6 is in a more out to sea scenario
Those mid cape numbers are likely going up, at 3pm should guidance stay cold

nearkt canal look at the numbers 1/18. Ths storm is remarkably similar but obviously it’s not as cold.
You read box 430 Disco.
They are thinking best shot for 20" is se mass and they wonder if MOS is Messing w outer c.c accums , keeping them down.
They note the shift east at 0z (and models that didnt Are eastern edge of envelope).
Say could shift west at game time but wont Know till then

I wouldn’t go to the cape. They will lose half their qpf to rain or slop. However, if you go to PYM you just may be in Jack zone.
Wasnt Gonna be chatham Chasing
