There’s a lot of EPS spread to the east and offshore yielding a colder solution. I’d look for a sizable shift east today on the op

You ever follow Cranky’s blog at stormhamster

Methuen....like 2 mi from the NH line.

FWIW when I lived in By exit 42 on 495 (S Lawrence/N Andover) there were a few events ONE recent season where coastal front and or snow/ice/rain line had set up about 3 miles West of me and Methuen was on cold side.

you are certainly in a more favorable locale for some ice now , especially NW side (near 93)

The mesos did hint at some draining into NE MA yesterday. I think the 3K NAM and HRRR at times showed this. We were windy all night here just south of Boston, but perhaps pressure falls and maybe a weak meso low were enough to drain some taint into nrn areas. I do remember seeing this at times.

Was 68 at exit 41 on 93 last nite then 55 in N Andover. Cool feature to drive thru

    Yep. All going to Plan.

The plan blows . Just like SNE climo. I give props to those who make peace w their climo and I’m “ok” Lol but I really do need to have a spot at elevation up North. Let’s see what I can find on Cougarlife.comm

Clouds are moving in, temps are going to be slow to drop now mid levels will warm as it pushes in. You and Hubba will see parachutes to a transient coating at best.

Looks to me there is a nice cold feed from SW Maine into S NH even interior SE NH.

My point & click just updated to “snow before 9am” well see

    32/25 Con/NH

Precip arriving @ Dawn and High Pressure exerting it’s influence tonite

Ya , it’s Late October but umm

This doesn’t look bad for interior elevated SNE from say Torrington to ORH N to New Boston over to say Concord and then SW Maine inland

It’s pretty cool to even talk about precip types in October. Take a step back and think about that. We’ve had some pretty chilly air masses.

    12z BTV WRF looks chilly

W a fast burst or precip , especially into W CT prior to 8am and even SNH thru 10am. Quick precip thump

Don’t even bother wasting your time chasing this one...there will be more interesting ones coming soon.

    We hope??? Lol.

    Definitely not chasing this one

if the pieces were timed better and the low bombed I would have considered

    Sell on the ice.

Maybe near Mitch is possible since the elevation is so good there and there's a nice cold layer in the 900-950 range.

A few hours of parachutes in CNE looks the most interesting.

Are u selling any snow in thru Berkshire thru Mitch to Monads. I.E > 1”?

I agree, wont see those totals but I wouldnt be surprised to see a dusting or light glaze in the Worcester Hills/Bershires and NW CT; maybe even slight coating in Union.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see 2-4 in Berks and maybe extreme NW CT

nice wall of precip moves in Saturday at dawn

    seems like surprise ice potential
