We pray
I know in my gut that this isn't going to pan out for us, but almost feels worse when you have some models selling hope.
It's the hope that kill you.

For whatever it's worth HRRR seems to be coming in colder, showing more snow on Long Island than previous runs.

Expecting mostly glop here after the trends today. Sucks. Another event down the proverbial and literal drain.
Definitely a bummer after keeping an eye on this for a week. Here I thought it'd be easier to get snow being back up here after living in NC lol. Forgot how fickle it is down this way. Someday my son will get to see a decent snowfall.

Friend in Rowley has a coating on the ground and coming down pretty good from ocean effect it looks like.

Enjoy to those who see some solid accumulation, will be nice to see snow flying but just don't see it in the cards down here.

Shit
Can't help but feel like this ship has sailed for us. Warm temps always seem to prevail when they're in the cards

I am going to choose to ignore the models and believe that some decent snow is coming based solely on how active the squirrels seem to be this morning.

Box forecasting virtually no snow here, less than an inch. Let’s see how that plays out
What a bummer man, was hoping for a big snow down this way.

I made the mistake of telling my 4 yr old we might get a good amount of snow this weekend, kid is so excited because he's never seen a ton, only had 1 storm in Raleigh that gave us about 3-4" that was gone by lunch. Just hoping I didn't speak to soon, he's got his hopes up.

That's right, didn't you live in Weymouth at one point? Or work in Quincy? Where did you move to?
Yeah lived in Weymouth on Middle St off 18 before moving to the Raleigh area.

Yeah, I mean I'd be happy with 3-6". I think people need to put a little perspective on things.
I'll take an inch of snow at this point. Last meaningful snowfall I saw was 2016 before we moved south.

Just gotta pull this one in.

Never lost power, and those who did seemed to get it restored fairly quickly. Very appreciative of the town operated electric and gas company today.

Neighbors roof is ripping apart. It was already in pretty rough condition but this windy is just ripping shingles off with every gust.

Halifax?
Downtown Middleboro area.

Just had a massive gust rip down the street, multiple trees and large limbs down. Saw someone's large yeti cooler flying down the road. Nice unexpected Christmas for whoever finds that. Was not expecting this level of winds.

Just drove my son to school in Halifax, trees and limbs down all over the place. Bad day for trash pickup in Halifax, barrels and trash all over the road. Traffic lights out on 44 from the rotary to at least 105.

Confirming that it is quite windy outside.
I didn't think things were really going to pick up until later this morning?

Looks like we are on the outside looking in here in downtown Middleboro. Still awesome to see some snow falling and on the ground. 8 years in the Carolinas will make you appreciate any snow that falls. Was great watching my son see snow for just the 2nd time and running around outside.
