Temp is down to 39. A win is a win

Down to 41, we'll see how much precip we lose. Even seeing things white would be nice
-
Cloud cover seems to help slow down warm up, was up to about 46 around noon, back down slightly to 44.5 now.

Shopping at stew Lenard’s in newington, beautiful sunny morning, feels like March
Same here, just opened a few windows to get some fresh air in the house before the cold comes through this week.

There’s definitely some red flags. Not all models are agreeing on a good conveyor belt of moisture and it’s a fast mover. Still, I’d be happy as a pig in shit if I got 4-6”. Everyone should be.
If I got 2-4 I would be ecstatic at this point. Would be nice to see no grass for once.

I bought a new snowblower in Dec 2020 and I’ve legit used it twice. Not exactly a good return on investment there
This is why I'm holding off on it. I will go up to the store and buy one once it's snowing at this rate.

Id give up a little for our SE friends to get in the game, and by a little I mean an inch
Your generosity and thoughtfulness is much appreciated.

Meh, this went from a nice little event to nothing down here. With me off of work and son home from school was hoping for a little snow day but I guess rain will have to do.

About time for one or two of those messenger ticks

That was a fun few days thinking SE Mass actually had a chance to be included.

I am just an observer here for the most part, but it seems like you just will it to snow. This isn't the first system this winter you've stuck with that has reeled others back in on

Would happily take a 2-4" event at this point, would at minimum double my season so far.

Moved up from NC with one plastic snow shovel and haven't needed to upgrade yet. I will believe it when I see snow on the ground.

At least it’s winter for a day. Kids outside sledding. Dad less stressed.
My son woke up and immediately went outside with the dogs. First weekend morning in a while where I drank my coffee in peace.

Just took an awesome walk through downtown with the family. Rates have calmed down now.
-
Decent rates again and with sun going down and temps dropping things are getting coated quick.

Man living right on the edge, hoping to keep it going.

Omg I'm actually under decent rates, didn't think this was possible.

Rates picking up a little bit, just nice to see snow falling at this point. We might even match our season with this.

As WAR expands, do our snow chances increase? First wave may produce a middling event-solid advisory and possible low end warning for MLK Weekend

The rain continues, don't see how we really get any accumulation going at this point.
