  1. The brief push of hotter temps for a portion of this weekend and early next week looks to be about it for now.

  3. One thing we have learned following the evolution of Beryl the past week or so. The Euro is hot garbage. 6Z run jumped well SE today, and it's going to badly bust short term.

  9. Solid light show at both ORD and home from last evening into early last night, though it didn't result in much other than that. The QLCS this morning featured peak wind gusts of 50-55MPH at home.
  10. Although it was lacking high humidity/heat indices, this period was a solid mid-June heat wave for the area. Barely missing out on 90°+ temps on June 20th prevented a 7-day stretch of 90°+ temps, which would have ranked 3rd longest stretch on record for June. ...ORD...   11. The QLCS Saturday evening/night was the second best action of the year here at home, behind Feb 27th (Kind of sad, isn't it). Peak wind gusts of 50-55MPH and ended up with over 1" of rainfall.
