Loved this storm. Got 16” in Melville. Loved watching that mega death band spiral in west from the ocean.

Had some big gusts about 15 min ago. I’m definitely going to lose some decorations. im thinking the inversion may be worse right on the coast due to the colder ocean, it’s currently 59 here and only low 50s south shore.

Even 45 mph winds can bring down trees with fully saturated ground. Currently pouring and the soil is already mud. Going to be a long 24 hours
