  1. You’re right. You been sniffing this one out from the beginning!
  2. I’m not sure folks realize but this thing is just really getting cranked up for the southern and eastern escarpment as upslope flow will last through the night.
  3. 0Z NAM 3k really correcting itself south with this run
  4. They must have took a sneak peak at the Euro
  5. Will be interesting the next 12 hours. By tomorrow morning we should have good idea where that enhanced area of heavy rain will set up shop.
  6. Agree. Euro is concerning on two fronts. The amount of rain it lays down along with 70 mph gusts it shows. A lot of Mets getting worried about this now as it’s showig up on other models now.
  7. Was about to post the same thing. Picking up in earnest here as well. Almost like someone turned a switch.
  8. Going to be a tight gradient for sure. 0Z Euro has Henderson and adjacent foothill counties of Polk, McDowell, NW Burke and Avery county getting 7-10 inches with Asheville proper getting 3 inches.
  9. Euro has for a while now. Seems like U.K. did? Can’t remember on U.K.
  10. I see that’s what they put but if you plot the coordinates it’s definitely WNW
  11. Yep agreed. We just had a flood warning here early this morning. Close to 3 inches just last night in northern end of county.
  12. Man the GFS turns near S.C./GA line and heads to WNC. Wrings the moisture out.
  13. Sure has. Very concerned with landslides with 3+ inches of rain. Enhanced flow is gonna flex its muscle when Flo makes the turn near WNC
  14. Yes that enhanced flow would wring out a lot of moisture in the southern and eastern escarpment areas.
  15. That’s what I said. Nothing north of Wilmington. That appears to be northern extent. No model has any thing north of there.
  16. So it appears Wilmington may end up being the northern extent of the landfall possibility as most models today have the goal posts at the southern end of Wilmington down to dirty Myrtle.
  17. Driving right now and don’t have access on the road to those maps. Can someone else post the Euro ensembles?
  18. Wow. The Euro ensembles clustered between Myrtle beach and Charleston. Very few into N.C.
  19. I hope this doesn’t sneak up on your neighbors up in your area. This has the potential to bring major flooding to mtns and foothills of N.C. and VA
  20. Very interesting. Pretty much like the majority of previous euro runs, just 75 miles north.
