    That 44.0 in Newark Valley is definitely legit. I'm 1 mile east of there.

    I'll have to try and take some additional measurements. Had to clear a spot and use a measurement tape cause yard stick was too short so might not be exact and compaction not uniform everywhere.

    Down to just flurries here... 44-45 inch depth.

    Ok well what's falling right now is white and it's snow, but step outside for a minute and you feel like you been in a downpour and soaked even though the snow density is pure powder.

    Band seems to be weakening except for the part over my head. Still pouring white rain right now!

    Pretty scary listening to the scanner of ems calls that are going unanswered because ambulances can't get to the location. NYS needs to deploy national guard ASAP.

    I don't know what life in the Tug Hill or Buffalo area like during the worst lake effect snow storms but I feel like I'm living it right now over a short period of time.

    I'm just speechless. My street has 24 inches on it and can't really leave the driveway except by foot now.

    Snowing as hard now than any part of storm. This is getting frightening. Like being flooded in snow and trapped.

    Up to 24.0 now... 5 inches in past hour!!!

    I'm like 5 miles west southwest of KBGM Airport in Town of Maine... like 15 minutes northwest of Endwell. This is just mind boggling what happening here. Gotta keep snowblowing or ill be snowed in.

    Everything at a standstill... 16 inches on the roads. Plow truck went in the ditch!

    Orange dbz right over my head and can barely see. I'm on the look out for lightning!

    9.0... 1.0 in past 30 min. Wanted to get my measurements lined up with the top of the hour.
