    Damn looks like spring is here. That’s one thing that doesn’t change, a constant. Weather. It’s a relief from all that is going on. some more rumbles of thunder now. Looks like we avoided the worst here in Shaler. Lots of hail in stubenville. (Pic from Twitter)

    I’ll take this any time. If we get 1 or 2 more of these this winter I think it’s a success. Got to play with my son and the dog in the snow. Worth every minute.

    They probably counted last night's 1/4 of an inch of sleet towards the 3 inch total, lol

    welp, looks like the next 3 weeks are shot from what i see high's in the 40's. I'll check back maybe mid-February. I am just disgusted.

    freezing rain here in shaler almost all rain.

    Yep snowed for about 5 minutes, now mainly sleet. So much for a thump. bring on the torch lol

    Same thing, grass isn’t even covered. Hoping for a nice thump for an hour or two if we’re lucky before the slop.

    First wave is almost through, and I am very underwhelmed. I think it might be mixing with sleet, I can hear it hitting my roof.

    I would take 4"-6" without hesitation. Anything 3"+ that sticks around for 2 days is a win at this point.

    Anyone remember the last time we had a storm of 6"+ ? It has to have been a few years. I don't even remember the last time we had a WS watch or warning that wasn't for some sort of ice storm. It's amazing the temps over the next few days....close or below freezing, then the precip comes and its 42, then back below freezing. Don't get it.

    yeah with a high of 43 Saturday, I doubt anything sticks around by Sunday. maybe just piles of sleet. Then we get a week of colder, drier weather of course.

    I was trying to work in my office and kept getting interrupted by a cacophony of blaring phones. All for 5/10 minutes of snow, that’s already melted.

    so 1"-2" of rain Wed/Thurs. What would that translate to snow? is it too early to start hoping for some flakes?

    And so it begins... 87 in Pittsburgh 64 in Erie. This is a taste of whats to come as usual for winter. Always in the screw zone.
