93 had it all, even the weather before and after is part of whole memory for me . I believe it was march 12 of 93 my friends and I made are first seasons trip to the local farm pond to catch a few lunkers in are shorts and tea shirts, then we spent most that unseasonably warm evening gathering firewood, cigarettes and herbs for the neighborhood party fort in preparations for the storm Chuck Roads and Mark Mancuso was getting me and my friends all fired up for. After the storm I remember one of the coldest most crisp high pressures systems In my memory . I have never seen the sky as blue as it was for three days after the storm since that storm . The bob sled trails and igloos we built after the storm still ring in infamy today around these parts . I remember plenty of deep snow form that great snow decade bit I only remember One Blizzard. I only got 19" form the blizzard but its still the storms of storms in my mind.

More than post made taking shots at me last year when I was just trying to loosen things up with fun. My anger stems mostly from A few complete ignorant and uncalled for privet messages I got long before I said anything to offend anyone. I never sent any of you privet messages making fun of your spelling writing or believes. At the end of the day I guess I need to let go and stop ruining the threads and offending all who did not offend me. Even as I write this I look up as see some shots aimed at me based on Redneck assumption, so all will say Is I lived with the hornets worms fungus and storms before some of you could say weather . Its my true everyday lifestyle its what I fukcn do to feed and cloth my family because it has been a passion form age 7 . I wanted to share some of it with you guys but every time I tried I get ridiculed either through Pms or post . So yes I fn angry because when people make fun because they dont understand how reactivate these things are to there environment around them it shows who is uneducated. Step out side before after and during a storm and open eyes to the biology of nature and its super fine tuning with the weather it what a true weather lover dose. I have said it before,I think the love for computer models has completely clouded other methods you guys should be taking advantage of. I really dont feel that getting one out of a bunch of storm systems right here and there is a working system I realize its all we have but its pretty bad and was getting worse . To much computer not enough qualified men and women . I am speaking of the weather agency's not the forum.

I know some guys are bummed about the weather coming up but sometimes that warm air makes wishes come true in huge ways . It would be one thing if it where happening on a weekly basis but seeing winter warmth is not rearing its ugly face every few days I think its a good thing to see a little chaos in temps when things look flat and bland. Kinda like pulling the slot machine.

I was trying to find a longer deration map. The only one I found could not be copied and pasted . It has not always been the case after the minimum platoughs but happens enough I defiantly think its note worthy . There is much argument among science community right now about the suns status there not even 100% sure if we are still in cycle 24 or if we have transitioned to 25. I think the historic lack of activity has the community a little confused at the moment . Either way my 20+years in aquaculture and agriculture combined with my love and observation's for weather and nature has me convinced we will have are way this year. I dont think it will be the biggest blockbuster winter but with the way some of these storms have set up there moisture we could easily be on are way had we had the damming regimen setup we had in late September and October . Based on the fact its been years since I have seen so many blocking highs to the north (September /October) and patterns rottenly repeat a few times throughout the year before they plateau off I am betting to see those highs again just about the time we need them . As many already know I have many unorthodox views that are coming together this year to add over time but I will keep them unattached to the Snownut name lol .

I have been here since 2015. Haven't seen a correct or close to correct long rang forecast made yet .Long range is the biggest joke in weather forcasting . My honest opinion is most here seem to be letting there passion muck up the reality's truths and failures of winter, and worse of all lie about the weather they are experiencing to validate there stupid predictions. See it in here daily. I hate liars with a passion to the end of the earth and back. This is my forum just as much as it is yours hippys.Taint made it to the NY border with some lightning and thunder in or area Did it not boys. Winter storms dont usually come together the way we like until mid Jan through march. At least on the planet I live on.

Bty Some how there was also a dusting of snow for half of Downtown Harrisburg a few day ago but not the other .Weird.

Here is some weird shit for you. I got to my home form having to work outside in Downtown Harrisburg about an hour ago. Street and sidewalks there where only wet but Accretion on other objects began there by 9:30 Pm and was obvious by 10:00 PM. Sleet was mixing in at times the whole time I was there. There must be some crazy micro climates form one block to the other in the Burg. Funny shit.

Looks like we just missed a dozy today. Great looking December storm given its trajectory and lack of dig . Vigorous thunderstorm development and lightning in the south. If the storm gets much deeper I think the waa makes it farther north than expected along with the thunder:)

Animal behavior patterns and weights this fall where conducive to long and cold or long and snow packed . Mycelium fruiting body varieties and distribution also conducive to same. Most importantly Vespa crabro and vespula queens where talking loudly this fall if you where listening (Numerous and long running queen emergence) . Not goning to waste to much time writing about anything here anymore. hit 1" on diving board Snow was completely done here at 3:10 Am . 1/2 to 2/3 melted as I was falling. Still A nice surprise . Now three hours to sleep before work .

Looks to be about 1 to 1.5 hours tops left here to go where I am at looks like a descent back side . Just was out walking the dog on the roads there still wet from curb to curb here but its probably a little colder where the Blizz stomps.
