1 thing is for sure y'all, the cold is coming!! Thats what we need in place first and then let's get that southern stream active. Im pretty optimistic about the rest of Jan and going into February. Even if we dont score this week.

12z EURO does bring a Winter Storm around the 24th/25th time frame but that's way out there.

6z GEFS comes back to life for Sunday/Monday. Still not much there from the GFS

0z NAM looked better than 18z and gives some light accumulation outside the mountains

I guess if theirs anything that looks more certain to talk about is there's no sign of any warm ups after the next couple days... Very Cold weather coming it seems.

That look on the 0Z ICON was a thing of beauty at H5. But hardly anything at the surface, outside of the Mts... Not sure why.

18z GFS gives northern VA 10-15". Thought it had a chance for us but it was later in the phasing this time
