At 8:17A, the dew point dropped away from matching the temperature point by point since midnight. High temperature today was 37.8 at 11:17A, while the low was 33.7 at 4:17A. Currently at 36.4/36.1 and dropping, with only 0.06" recorded, but I think that's wrong because it's been raining for a couple of hours now.

Talk about rubbing salt into the wound.  RAH beats all.  They issue a WSW after the worst of the event.

WSW for Rockingham County issued at 9:58A. Based on public safety radio traffic, trees are down all over the county.

Beautiful snow changed to a cold rain around the top of the hour. Currently a little snow mixed with the rain.@Tullioz is only about two miles away, and had at least 0.25" more snow than here.

[mention=13982]kc4wsd[/mention] [mention=1075]Tullioz[/mention] How much ice/freezing rain would you estimate you guys actually had? I see the photos there but hard to tell. Anyone else in Rockingham or Caswell receive freezing rain? If so, how much?
 

@Tullioz or@landof2rivers might be a better one to estimate an actual amount, but I'm going to say it was barely a trace of sleet and freezing rain. The snow was only a dusting on the grass and bushes at my location . . . MAYBE 0.25", if that. After the rain yesterday, almost all the snow is gone.
Sorry, I'm not going to be much help on this one. Hopefully the next one will bring us several inches and I can share more information.
