76 degrees with 100% humidity this morning. Swampy.

Got some nice crackling thunder and heavy rain this morning. Quality summertime storm.

While I was at work, I watched a big storm on radar go over my house. Lots of CG, too. I'm sure my dogs will tell me all about it when I get home.

Decent heavy rain/flood potential starting tomorrow night through Saturday for Northern Illinois and Indiana.

Ended up with just under 2.5 inches of rain. Five miles to my southeast got 5+ inches!

Heavy rain has moved in. 20-25 mph gusts. Looks to be building back to the west and southwest. Should be our best soaking in a long time. It’s giving Tropical Depression.

68 degrees and overcast. A banner day. I'll be taking an extra-long walk this evening.

Storms are weak here. Gusted to maybe 30-35. Not much rain. Some low rumbles. On to Saturday.

Same. I've been hacking and dealing with a runny nose since this stuff moved in late yesterday.

We got a real loud storm at about 3 am. It dropped under a half inch of rain. We’ll see how much the remnants from Chicagoland bring.

I'm hoping to cash in on the scraps tomorrow morning. We need the rain badly.

We had a nice morning for some lawn work here. And I got all the bird poop off the mailbox. It's amazing how much they poop on that thing.

Under a Severe Watch but the line initiated overhead and is already to my east. Not expecting much.
