Looks like round 1 is down the Jersey Shore today

6Z GFS has Lee slamming right into Montauk as a Cat 2 at Hr 288.  

12z GFS brings it within about a 100 miles of the Outer Banks before curving ots.

Franklin about to jet ENE.  The storms will be a few thousand miles apart by Friday.  

My buddy is down in Aruba on vacation and stuck inside all day from Franklin's rains.

I’ve been sitting in the mail truck the last half hour watching the non stop rain. Approaching an inch here already

Boston the winner tonight. I’ve been sitting in Fenway the last hour watching the lightning over the monster and epic rains to the point where I couldn’t see the green monster 300 feet away.

Getting into the heavy rain now.  Only 1 clap of thunder so far.  

Closing in on an inch at my personal weather station which is 2 miles east of where I was riding out the storm earlier. Easily my biggest event so far from this stormy stretch

Been pouring non stop for the last 20 minutes, lots of ctg lightning and now the wind has picked up and the visibility is down to less than a block. Absolutely epic.
