  1. Been switching back and forth from snow to freezing rain for the past 30 minutes.
  2. 06z 12km NAM coming in a tick south and weaker. Edit: Suburbs of Chicago receive warning-level snow and .2" of ice. Lol
  3. It's been coming down pretty good here. We're at around 1-1.5" over about 2 hours, give or take a couple minutes, heh.
  4. what a fun run that was/is, lol. temps below 10 with that storm 180ish. active pattern coming up. hopefully it doesn't shit the bed

  6. EPS mean with another tick south and tick down with mean snowfall totals.. zzz
  7. Euro looks a lot better for those in the 00z EPS mean area. C/N IL --> C/N IN etcetc Scratch that, take like... half the QPF of 00z :'( The LES is decent though.
  8. Hah! Hot lookin' run for us, that's for sure
  9. EPS mean is solid. N MO/S IA --> NC/N IL + N IN/S MI --> N OH and onward get a nice 6+" mean.
  10. Not sure if QPF from Weathermodels.com is allowed, but here's the UKMET to go along with the post above. ^ Let me know if it's prohibited like the Euro was a while ago.
  11. Tropical Tidbits MSLP + 10m wind can see well beyond that. It's def not north of it's 12z run though lol
  12. Could have a chance at some severe this weekend in IL/IN.
  13. O'Hare at 7.4" as of 5:30am. Might be making a run for 10" based on radar trends
  14. Saw power flashes in Lisle near 88. Hearing reports of multiple accidents, along with trees down on lines.
  15. 06z HRRR run gonna be a big hit for the entire N IL area. Crippling blizzard it appears. Edit: It appears my site didn't update until I posted, whoops. lol
  16. Looks like LOT hoisted winter storm warnings for most of the CWA. Edit: In response to that HRRR run above, it also has 50mph gusts for hours.
  17. EPS mean is basically the OP Euro in terms of both track and the swath of snow.
