  1. Congrats to the squall winners this morning...my goodness, reading reports of 2"-3" new snow just from squalls across southern York and Adams counties and down into northern MD. Nothing at all at home, but after more than 5" yesterday I'm feeling blessed. Also - I had snow right to the end last evening...no freezing rain/sleet down here...
  2. Very impressive on radar and moving pretty quickly towards the LSV. A particularly intense squall is pretty close to @Wmsptwx currently.
  3. Awesome...you got my by 1". Makes me feel good about my measurement...
  4. Yes! Very foggy here as soon as there was some clearing.
  5. 5". Some light snow still falling. Almost a March scene with snow falling while it's melting on streets and water is trickling down the spouts.
  6. You're going over...trust me. If not, maybe in a few weeks.
  7. Many in that sub forum are getting snowfall right now...
  8. 42/26 according to the semi-weather fanatic at home. (wife) On the verge of dense overcast.
  9. I'm like a little kid in the office today...I've been feeling this one since late Sunday PM. Big shout out to @Blizzard of 93 who made a post almost a week ago during our weeds discussion that he couldn't wait until it was snowing this week. Blizz - Your time is almost here!
  10. Coming from someone who is admittedly skeptical before a lot of events, (and often for good reason) I think we're in a good spot as well. I'd be somewhat surprised if we end up with less than 2".
  11. Agreed, assuming that the rates are in fact legit. Some of the cams in VA are pretty impressive...
  12. 2 things to watch out for: How warm does it get today? (and how much sun we get before it becomes overcast will dictate that) What kind of rates will we get? (in early January, if we can get some decent rates we should overcome any warmth rather quickly)
  13. Timing looks pretty rough for the evening rush down this way. That, and some 1-2" -1"/hour rates could make this an event with some impact. Also, it's in and out in just a few hours...
