Dews have really come down this afternoon. My current split is 98/61.
I can recall a few nights where temps stayed at or above 80 but over 55 years it's happened rarely. (I believe in each case my low was no higher than 81)
When the wind direction and speed is just right I can smell that from here in Historic Maytown. That's probably a couple of days/year kind of phenomena.
Looks like maybe a few parts of southern parts of York county (Hanover area) at least unofficially cracked the century mark.
Also, MDT at 98 but with a dew point of 58 gives them a real feel of 97.
I got to 98.2 but have backed off to 97.6 right now. It's breezy here as well. I've had almost wall to wall sunshine and still do but it doesn't look like I'll make the century mark barring a last minute surge. I even sent my wife outside to start talking to the neighbor women but still not enough hot air.
Interesting, very little in the way of any cloudiness here. A few wisps of high clouds and a distant Cumulus field is just now starting to build to my west.
94/66 here at 12:30, which gives me a HI of 97. A bit lower than yesterday thanks to lower dews. Going back to Friday, my noon time dew points were:
Friday - 73
Saturday - 64
Sunday - 71
Today - 66
Yesterday seemed to be about the amount of clouds in any one given area - I managed a late afternoon high of 97 but also had a lot of clouds and even a light shower during the "prime time" hours of 12-3.
I'm at 86.6 right now with just a little high cirrus.
