  1. Yes sir, if it went down like that...count me in!
  2. @Blizzard of 93 will be proud of me - here's a rare snow map post from me!
  3. I think we need to keep an eye on Sunday - SPC day #3 has the southern part of PA at MRGL with the SLGT bisecting the Baltimore metro area. Definitely could see these areas shift/expand north over the next 48 hours. At the very least, could be our first storms of the spring season.
  4. This. One of the things that I loved about our May snow last year was that it was...snow in May. Unless it's an exceptionally rare and/or large event, snow now does nothing for me.
  5. Could easily see .5" - 1" of rain on Sunday. Looks right now like it'll be a pretty good soaking.
  6. James Spann - has his house get destroyed, takes a break to regroup, comes back on the air to continue working on saving other's lives. Guy is 100% legit hero.
  7. Thanks - again, my memory is good enough to remember these things but failing enough to not remember when they happened.
  8. There was an Easter in the 1980s when the high reached 96. I hated it...funny thing is, I remember it because it was extreme...
  9. Took some time off work for next week so my wife and I csn spend a couple of nice spring days in Rehoboth - meaning, this greatly increases the odds that snow is coming. LOL We're going Thursday and Friday.
  10. Sounds like at least 5 dead in Alabama today - really hope that isn't any (or many) more than that. Still violent weather ongoing across the mid-south down into Alabama.
  11. A lot of people that know a lot about severe weather seem really concerned for what's about to transpire...
  12. 1.18" in the bucket. Did not see this coming, but I'll gladly take. Had to be a sharp cut off west of 81/83 judging by radar trends today.
  13. 4/6/1982 - I had a high of 29 with nearly 9" of windblown snow. Coldest day in April I've experienced...by a good bit.
  14. Today would have been a forum divider if it was snowing...looks like many areas in the SE part of this sub get close to if not over 1" of rain while far west areas see a tenth of an inch or two. Pouring rain here again.
  15. It took all of 5 minutes after I made that post before the floodgates opened and it POURED. Oops. And yes...I'm watching that blob over the Baltimore area that is on a trajectory to dump on us if it holds together...
  16. I try my best not to be critical of models, but this is why I questioned @Bubbler86 the other day about if any other model was showing our area going into the deep freeze in early April - the GFS to me seems to be REALLY lost these days...(at least the previous version)
  17. Interestingly enough, current radar shows 2 large areas of rain advancing NE - one is missing us to our NW, the other is passing off to our east. Sort of a little dry tongue that might keep the more significant rain away from us, at least for the next few hours. It's a rather small gap between the bands...but it seems like you and I are poised to maximize the gap. Regardless, @canderson is going to exceed .1" today.
  18. Haven't looked at models much at all for the past 2-3 weeks - is the GFS on an island with that depiction?
  19. A chilly 29 to start off the work week. It's that time of year - opening up the site this morning and seeing that the last posts in subs happened up to 10 hours ago tells you everything you need to know without going any further.
  20. 65 beautiful degrees this afternoon. Absolutely a perfect Sunday!
  21. I haven't checked my station once today, but I just returned from a walk in a tee shirt and was perfectly comfortable. It's gorgeous out!
