  1. Jon, there were plenty of obscenities being hurled 90 minutes to your NW, trust me.
  2. Hard to prepare a team when mentally he's already coaching at the LA Coliseum...
  3. James Franklin- the guy that other schools covet and the same guy we can't wait to see go. Sorta interesting but very true.
  4. Oh man are you ever spot on... Sunny with skyrocketing temps now. Quickly up to 72...
  5. It was as awful in person as it was on TV, I'm quite sure of that.
  6. Running Orientation today so little time to post but it's still mainly cloudy here.
  7. I enjoy all types of weather except for severe storms. I love a good nor'easter as much as anyone. I also feel somewhat jaded looking at those precip maps because of what's already happened this year. In the past several months I've had a storm produce over 7" of rain and several others were in the 2-5" range. Seeing the possibility of getting a couple of inches of rain right now seems almost ho-hum if that makes sense.
  8. Yep, we started talking about this back on Friday - how today was going to sneak up on us and really warm up. I'm ready for yet another challenge to see if we can reach 80 one more time this year.
  9. I didn't see many dressed like I was at the park today. Perfect day for shorts and a polo.
  10. I'm sorry Blizz - I meant that to be both fun and also with a lot of respect. I could not agree more!
  11. Once we got west of Gettysburg it started changing quickly. I'm sitting near the pool and their is color all around me.
  12. You know what- this might be the best post you've ever made on here. This is 100% accurate. And it's why Joel is not an MVP. He disappears when he's needed most.
  13. A lot more color here at Caledonia compared to back home. Nice day out.
  14. Having watched every down of every game, I'm okay with his play calling. The issue is the offensive line that has been overwhelmed pretty much the entire season.
  15. Coming out your way tomorrow. Visiting Caledonia.
  16. The Villanova game spoke volumes about how good PSU really is. They controlled the line of scrimmage that day, and they lost because of big plays. Clifford playing injured was obviously a factor but it felt like Illinois ran for like 400 yards. We are getting pushed all over the field on both sides of the ball. 2 very frustrating games to watch this weekend. Going to be a long drive home this evening. After coming up here for 47 years I guess it's fitting that my first loss in person went 9 overtimes. And that's telling too - Illinois defensively wasn't even ranked in the top 100 in the country but we failed repeatedly to score from the 3 yard line. As you would say "Hail to Pitt" - time for Pickett's charge tonight
  17. This is my 43rd PSU game. I have never watched them lose in person. They are going to do so today.
