  1. Tale of 2 different areas today for sure. It's actually sunnier now than it has been most of the day. 60 degrees. Edit: there are darker clouds to my west now.
  2. Sunshine through some high clouds and up to 56 at noon. Turning out to be a really nice spring day here. Looks like if it rains at all here, it will be after dark tonight. More sun tomorrow followed by rain after dark tomorrow night. Timing here ends up giving us a pretty nice weekend all things considered.
  3. Correct. I stand by my comment that their bullpen is there biggest liability. And it ain't close.
  4. I'm at 4, let's try not to blow this out of proportion.
  5. Phillies home opener was fun... ...until the bullpen came in. Holy crap, the Phils bullpen sucks. Poor Wheeler.
  6. Successful opener for the O’s. Burnes with 11 Ks in 6 innings in his debut.
  7. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is my 2nd favorite theme park I've been to behind only Disney's Animal Kingdom. BGW is a beautiful park...so well maintained.
  8. Cold temps close down some of Hershey's rollercoasters. Hersheypark suspends a lot of rides when lightning is in the area. I'm not aware of the park closing for a rainy day. Tropical storm Lee being an obvious exception as the park was flooded.
  9. R-Ville is a bigger spot than I thought! Maytown has uh...well, there's a home furnishings store at the edge of town. And the sky diving club! (rated 4.9 on Google) The official weather station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KPAMARIE23
  10. Make it a lifetime! https://www.downtowndubois.com/
  11. Barring a last second Hail Mary, it appears as if my last measurable snowfall beyond a T/flurries for the season will have occurred on February 17th. (that was 0.2" from a squall) The snow shut off at pretty much the exact time that we were forecast to enter an epic period for wintry weather. Recorded and filed for future reference.

  13. That's even more impressive when you look at the first half of the month.
  14. We have had some very heavy showers roll through over the past hour or two, skies here have brightened somewhat and the rain has stopped. Not a nice day however you look at it.
  15. Not normal but not unprecedented - I think they've done this in the past prior to "big" games. Opening Day draws fans from all over and I'll say this...kudos to the organization for making the decision now. I don't really care that much about weather conditions, but I would obviously prefer staying home rather than driving down there and then finding out the game was called. I think it's a pretty classy move by the Phillies. Friday is open for this very reason...use it to everyone's advantage.
  16. Going to the Phillies opener...which now is officially on Friday.
  17. Phillies game tomorrow is postponed. Opening Day is Friday.
  18. Moderate to heavy rain falling here at work. Radar is blossoming down south but the trajectory of that stuff will be to the east of most if not all of us.
  19. Hershey - Washington system has always worked far better than the period of time that the Bears were affiliated with Philly or Colorado. I was really happy when the Bears went back to being Washington's farm team.
  20. 0.05" in the bucket at home. 42 and dreary currently.
  21. Flyers fan here since the 1970s - Caps are playing very well. Playing very well at the right time of the year. One thing your team has that we're lacking right now is some veteran leadership. Having had Bears season tickets for years, I have a lot of respect and enjoy seeing Washington do well. Flyers are maximizing what they have to the limit. 3 times they fell behind in the 3rd period last night at MSG, 3 times they came back and tied it up. What is lacking in talent is not evident in the heart of that team. I'm not sure I've seen a team as resilient as the Flyers are and I've been an ardent fan of all 4 major sports going back to the early 1970s. I'd love to see one finish 3rd in the Metropolitan and the other claim a Wild Card berth.
