  1. I took a quick slow motion video of bouncing pings and put it in my Instagram story. Too big for here. We're back to all snow now, moderate at the moment. Accumulating on all grassy, some pavement.
  2. We *already* have light SN mixed with IP in BDR land. Ugh.
  3. Yeah, if it rains, I'm done. D-o-n-e. The people in the white coats will be hauling me off to a better place.
  4. Moderate snow shower in Stratford around noon for about ten minutes. Tiny flakes followed by a moment of big, pretty dendrites at the end. Accumulated a trace on all non-pavement only to be annihilated by the sun within 15 minutes.
  5. I'm dusting off my yardstick.
  6. Because it's never getting out of the 40s at best. Some 60s and some 0s would be far more enjoyable.
  7. This and what Ray is saying is why I agree with him on one of the worst seasons ever. BDR is +5.9, but if you asked most unknowing people they say it's been an average sort of chilly month. Nothing to track, nothing remotely enjoyable in terms of sensible weather. Nothing to enjoy like some random days of 60s and sun. Mundane on top of mundane. Save a few bucks on heating? Weeeee. This is not a desirable torch. At least let it be actually warm during the day so people can open some windows and go outside comfortably.
  8. These threads are high comedy. I thank you all, especially the regulars, on behalf of those who mostly lurk and laugh. We're struggling. Even a swing and a miss would be welcome at this point - something, anything, to track and ponder. As many have mentioned in the last few weeks, vaporizing our cover on Christmas was the most devastating component of this awful stretch. It'd been a lot different around these parts if we were clinging to that well into 2021. It's particularly painful to me to have watched the coastal Connecticut sky spitting out snow last May, and then again in October, only to leave us with this purgatory in prime time. We all know what February can do. We got this. Stay sane.
