We won't have another legit threat until February. I can feel it.

This one hurts now, but it's really gonna hurt when we are in mid-February and still haven't seen more than a couple inches of snow.

If it was 30 degrees in Upstate NY under a suppressive high pressure and I was sitting at 40 here, I would be concerned about the prospects of a snowstorm for my backyard. There isn't a lot of cold air to tap.

There is going to be a narrow stripe of good snow but so much of this storm is going to be wasted down there on rain. It really isn't very cold here, even with this supposedly badass high pressure around, which isn't a good sign for them.

I think we say this every single time there is a storm missing us to the south. It will look like it is headed right for us on radar and then hit the brick wall. It isn't even that cold here. This situation is a cruel joke.

Snow gods giving another one to the Deep South. Next they will need to deliver a HECS to New England because, duh. Then the pattern will need to reload. Oops, now it’s January, time for the thaw. How’s February looking?

Can't wait until the epic pattern shows up and it doesn't snow, but then we miss a storm pop up during the terrible pattern. Rinse and repeat.

I hope the folks that usually enjoy Thanksgiving with the windows and doors in the house all open, eating on the patio, and sipping tropical drinks are doing OK.

Your weather expectations and desires continue to perplex me. You want it to rain all summer long and then be patio weather at the end of November?

By the end of February I feel confident winter will have shown it's hand, but we will have to wait and see.

Thanksgiving is best with a sweater and a roaring fire, along with a strong ale to warm you up. Plus the oven and stove is going heating up the house. This windows open birds singing 70 degrees crap sounds more like Easter to me. Thanksgiving is not a holiday to spend on the patio unless you live in the South or LA.

Christmas is usually 70 so we need a cold Thanksgiving.

Pretty amazing storm for mid-November for this region. I am really impressed by how long the snow held on and stuck to all surfaces even in the middle of the day. A good omen for the rest of the winter.
