  1. I would assume that accumulated on everything. My measurement was taken on my deck, but my road is a sheet of ice with snow on top as well.
  2. Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend about to get slammed.
  3. Added a half inch in 30 minutes, high ratio stuff still going. 24 degrees.
  4. White Christmas in Smithville, via video evidence from my mother in law. It's great to see middle TN getting in on the action!
  5. I've been following the one coming from south of Wartburg. It's shrinking as it's going through Farragut but looks like I might get a taste. What a Christmas Eve. Edit: I-40 between the 75 split and Pellissippi parkway is a wood chipper for these bands. Just shreds em.
  6. I might get my first taste of a streamer soon if it doesn't get chewed up on the way.
  7. I don't know. Looks like 17,000 outages within KUB alone.
  8. The Norris Dam area seems to be set up nicely for streamers.
  9. Anybody else having RadarScope problems? It has been harder and harder to load a scan. Nothing at all in the past 30 minutes.
  10. It looks like from that photo that TDOT has done a pretty good job on the interstate, Alcoa Hwy not so much. Someone on the Knoxville Reddit page posted a shot of Gleason Rd. that was really bad. They got stuck and had to walk home. It'll be interesting to see how the roads fair tomorrow after the deep freeze tonight. I'm planning to drive to Dekalb county tomorrow afternoon. I figure it shouldn't be too bad on the main roads by then.
  11. Looks like this round is wrapping up here, still some very light snow falling at the moment at 28 degrees. A little over 2 inches at this point. I can't believe we got a white Christmas, I'm very grateful. Congrats to everybody that cashed in and maybe that Euro New Years Big Dog will pan out and get the whole forum involved!
  12. Buckle up son, y'all gonna get hammered. Hope you can keep power! Nice job tracking this thing Carvers, you deserve it.
  13. That's interesting, I'm just down the road from you in Bluegrass and have 2 inches. It is really beautiful.
  14. Snowing harder now than it has all day. Measured 1.5 inches. Holding steady at 31 degrees.
  15. I measured 3/4ths of an inch so far, still coming down nicely at 31 degrees. Roads are deteriorating. I'm surprised it stuck so quickly to the roads.
