The NAM is an ice storm
We shall not want.
It maketh us slip and fall down
In green pastures...
It will bring us still waters
It will test out our soles
It will lead us to find dry ground
But though we will walk carefully
Past the shadow of the Reaper and Whataburger
We shall not fear the ice
Because we will find comfort knowing it will melt

Surface temps may cook the kielbasa once it hits the ground, especially if it falls in smaller pieces.

He was only in Austria less than 2 weeks during the on-location shooting of "The Sound of Mucus", as he called it, and got tanked nearly every night, if not every night he was there. When they filmed the singing-at-the-festival scene he was drunk.

I was just looking at a storm up in Canada on the Euro and it has snow on every side of it. Imagine living someplace where you didn't have to be on a specific side of a storm to get snow. It doesn't matter if the storm goes north, south, east, or west of you as long it's close it snows.
I'm from Canada. The only month I've never seen snow falling from the sky is July.
Trust me, by March Canadians are right well sick and tired of the snow.

Winds have definitely changed to a northern direction. Also, sleet.

Makes sense. Explains his anger being forced to drink green label. What’s next step for him? Black? Dare I say red? Let’s see what today brings. Therapy at a minimum.

Does anyone else make a special meal on snow days? Apologies if this conversation happened already.
My wife is making scratch made beef pho (has been all day) and I'm enjoying Talisker 10 smelling the amazingness
Back when I was shoveling the big dumps (ie. 2010 and the like) I'd order a whole bunch of food from a local Thai restaurant the day before the fun started.
Shovel.
Serving of Pad See Ew.
Shovel some more.
Spring rolls.
Shovel again.
Goong Tod.
Some more.
Honey roast pork with rice.
Etc.

Total wine had a $3 wine stand so of course I partook. Drinking it now and...yeah, it was priced right.
Pro tip: Refrigerate, refrigerate, and refrigerate some more.

Looking out the window, I could probably put on my hockey skates and visit my building's parking lot.

After hours of pixie flakes followed by drizzle, back to decent rates with snow I can actually see; not huge flakes, but it does include some fat flakes mixed in (VA side of the Wilson Bridge).

I never knew who DC was until that guy started posting here.
If you're not into hockey that's understandable.

No doubt. And a hilarious avatar to go with it. I did run into one on a different interest forum that killed me. Dude's name was AmishRakeFights and had an avatar of 2 Amish dudes in a standoff holding rakes. Maybe it's a reference to something and I don't but for reason I dont really understand, I literally cracked up whenever he posted
And that avatar has one of the milder jackets Don Cherry would wear. The floral pattern jackets were rather memorable when he was on Hockey Night in Canada.

The RGEM apparently doesn’t want to support American. It wants to bring poutine and Labat Blue to your backyard and have you take pictures with the moose in full flannel

Why such a passive aggressive approach to this guy for the second time tonight? The UKMET is further south and lower in totals than most models. I'm sure you know this. Can't people post their opinions in this thread without a douchy comment? Practically half of the posts in this thread are about IMBY. Seems like the regulars get away with this.....regularly, without any gruff. Lighten up dude. Enjoy the snow.
Because early Friday afternoon that same guy said that the CMC couldn't be trusted, without ever giving a reason.

Sorry, just sarcastically saying something in relation to a comment in the other thread since if I said it over there it would be deleted.

When my nephew, who will turn 14 in a few months, made his first trip to the US when he was around 15 months old he fell in love with the Local on the 8s music and would dance to it. That and looking at the sky for airplanes since he wasn't used to seeing so many of them. Sometimes if there was a sufficient lull he'd look at me and point at the sky with a face that said, "Where are they?"
