Looks like a little under an inch here. Glad to see the southern end of the county take the brunt this time. The place hit hardest was really Perry County, with basically the entire county seeing 2-4”.
1.66 of rain in Marysville today.
We need a few weeks with minimal rain to dry everything out.

I'm only at 0.70" for the day. 2 miles south they are all above 1.20". Couple miles north and no one's really above 0.45". So you and I are going to still be probably1.5"- 2" below normal for the year to start July while some of our board brethren will be 5"+ above normal. Heck, a couple of stations less than 5 mi from me have 6" more rain on the year than I do and are at +4"

Lol, you & @canderson will likely need water delivered by @Voyager while the rest of us pump water out of our basements.

There were torrential downpours in Harrisburg at my office today.
No idea how @canderson somehow, someway, got missed by the rain today…

Beautiful morning out there! Humidity is noticeably lower...going to enjoy time outside later before the motherload of heat arrives.
Exactly, I got the mowing & yard work done this morning. It was nice to have some sun with manageable dew points.
My Family vacation to Cape May begins on Sunday. Hopefully it’s a few degrees cooler on the immediate coast with a sea breeze!

@Blizzard of 93 - just 16 days from now we'll observe the longest day in terms of daylight...after that, the slow march towards winter commences!
Thank you for this…
I am already done with Summer & we are just getting started.
We are getting a new HVAC system installed later next week. In the meantime, I am squeezing out what little chill is left in the old system, which isn’t much. I have it set at 72 & we have been hovering near 80 in the house today.

Digging into the past climate adjustments to Central PA - the same consistent chilling adjustments to the past that produce a warming trend line after these adjustments as we see across most of the U.S. to the historical data NWS data set. Green color is actual raw data....blue is after NOAA/NCEI makes their tweaks. If not for these chilling adjustments to the blue revised average annual temperatures - not much warming if any.
Don’t let the warm trolls bother you.
We get 2 days of seasonal warmth & out they come.
At least we don’t need to suffer through all of the “Drought” maps anymore.

Low of 46 this morning in Marysville to start off June.
Coolest low in June that I can remember since several years ago.

Temperature departure at MDT through yesterday now stands at 0.00 thanks to the cool down from the last 2 weeks.
Below normal temperatures are forecast for the last day of May today, so we should put yet another Below normal month in the books this year.

Heavy, heavy rain in Marysville currently.
Where o where was this pattern in January or February?
Could you imagine even half of this precip with cold air entrenched?

Flood Watches are up
.What time do you or anyone think the onset will be for the rain this evening?
My daughter has a softball game scheduled this evening at 6 pm, so I’m wondering if we will get the game played or not.
