Excellent color driving through 112 and the Kancamangus in New Hampshire today. Heading down 91 in Vermont now in the valley and the color is still moderate/high in spots.

Drove up to the cabin in Mount Vernon Maine today to help my parents close their cabin. Bright colors were spotty and mainly confined to the hills west of ORH and in interior Maine on the highways 90, 495, and 95. The back roads had some decent color in spots on the way to the cabin, but nothing widespread. It looks like some of the early changing trees have started to go by and now we're waiting for the next wave of brighter colors in this part of Maine.

It will be dam chilly Friday.
Box is only 61 here in the valley on Friday.

Not home today at the beach. Looks like that cell could be near or just south.

Brutal 7/10 splits here all afternoon.

For the love of God, someone in CT please tell me you have had FROPA, please!
Dew is down to 63 at BDL with a N wind. Still mid to upper 70 Dews along the shore.

Ended up on the wrong side of the rainfall gradient here today. BDL reported 1.63 and the south side of Enfield near 1", but only about .16 at a nearby PWS.

Caught the fringe of a TS 3-3:15 this afternoon, much stronger to the south, was warned for S. Franklin and Kennebec Counties, heard reports of hail in Belgrade. My tenth inch beats none at all.
Pretty good storm here on Flying Pond, worst was a bit south. Still no power.

About .05 locally. Stein wins.

53 and rain, lol.

Nearby PWS' are near or over 2" here. Turned into a soaker of an afternoon.

Pouring rain and thunder off and on the past hour.

74 here. Over performed the point and click of 71.

71 here with a NE breeze. It is noticeably greener with more leaves here than everywhere else, especially the higher hill towns, that I traveled through on my way home from Maine yesterday. Leaf out is well underway here in the valley.

5" here. The snow made a valiant effort fighting off the sleet. 25" on the season. It's going take a big March to approach normal.
-
Still dumping here for now.

lol Albany. I'm surprised we've managed even that much.
BDL is bad as well. WNE and ENY FTL so far this winter, especially the valleys that don't cash in much on any upslope and lake streamers etc.

F here too. 20" through mid Feb with a cutter or two on the way. Pack has been meager. Decent arctic shots seem like a waste when the storms don't produce.
-
18.5" here for the season so far and I average 49", pretty paltry. Long range doesn't look overly promising either. It's still early in terms of writing off the whole season but it's definitely feeling and smelling like a ratter.

Riding the line here on the HRRR and Rap, not expecting much, maybe a dusting to 1/2 inch. Only got 1" from the last storm before it changed to rain. Pack is down to piles and patches.

Just missed the real good stuff here with 5.8, still a nice wintry appeal and fun snow day for the kids. Definitely a bit frustrating when banding has tended to set up just SE of here in winter events but I'll take what I can get. Hopefully far NW areas up toward Hippy and ALY get themselves a big time interior crusher.

The fact that it took 3 hours to fill page 20 of this thread tells you all there is to know.
Only so many ways you can polish a turd.

Cold wedge hanging tough here as usual. 37-39 in Enfield and 55-56 in Tolland.

We've had like 7 mornings below freezing here and several in the 20s just a couple of towns NW of Kevin here in the valley. Definitely a good rad pit here, very flat and away from the cities.
