  1. Well as Scott said just yesterday….the OP runs should start showing something if this is a legit pattern. And today that has happened. Good sign as you said.
  2. Perhaps, but a 975 mb in that position, with that depiction is a very big storm. PG might not be insane, but that’s a big strong storm in a great position, with a great airmass…I’d take that in a hot second. But that’s just me.
  3. Yup..that would be a monstrous Blizzard. As depicted of course.
  4. The funny thing is, that energy might not even exist two weeks from now. And if it does, who knows where it will be at that time. That’s incredibly silly imo.
  5. We’ll agree to disagree. A full week out of school and 30-40” is “B” in my opinion for here. But it’s all good.
  6. I told you CECS: “Cataclysmic” which ushers in a new ice age.
  7. That is one serious trough over the east…holy smokes.
  8. Don’t even waste your time with those BS things.
  9. I like that idea…but I’d even take major and run too .
  10. Ya…that’s a rare bird indeed. Had about 34” here in ‘13, my sister about 5-6 miles south me had 36”, and about 10 miles south of her had 40”. Most I’ve ever seen in one storm in my 56 years.
  11. Yes, so I’d agree up there…but we were 6-10” above that here.
  12. I’d disagree here. Just down the road had 40”..so imo it was biblical here.
  13. Historic is above major any time…goes without saying.
  14. I’d say 2013 was Biblical here…an all timer. A little less(not by much though) wind here than 78, bud more snow. It was a beast.
  15. Well I think that’s what most of us wanted to see start showing…details obviously to be determined as always..but we’ll take our chances with active any time.
  16. That’s two weeks out Ant….really not worth much saying what that shows on 12/27.
  17. No, you certainly can’t. Now we need it to bear some good fruit.
  18. Again, all here realize that if it doesn’t produce anything, it’s all a waste. But I think we’d all rather have this look the way it does, than not. Everybody is aware that this doesn’t guarantee a thing. But I’m thankful , as are others, that we can at least discuss the potential, and hope as Will said that we can get something to develop, and not go frigid and dry. But it is always a possibility, that we all are aware of.
  19. That was more because that was a mid Atlantic monster. I had about 10-11 inches from that Jan 16 storm, and I was on the extreme northern fringe of the heavy stuff. Once north of here, it was like the amounts fell off the cliff. South of here they went up like a rocket.
  20. They’ve whiffed a lot in the big ones over the last 15-20 years. They’ve been too far NW for most of them. That’s why SE areas did so well during that time period. 06 was great here..a two footer.
