  1. I don’t buy into that nonsense Scott. When it snows at elevation, and it doesn’t at lower elevation, that’s not fake. And neither is this. Think of it as you want, but I don’t agree. If you were sitting outside all night in your banana hammock, and it was 28 degrees, would your ass and nuts be cold? Nuff said.
  2. Sucks for you. 20’s here. Nothing blooming. Nothing fake.
  3. That’s all well and good, but for the rest of SNE, who has frozen 3-4 times already, it’s not Fake…at all. The point is, and I’d think you can understand this, is that 95% of our area has froze. The growing season has been over here for 3 plus weeks. Sure, a few areas have escaped it so far. But most have not. And that’s the point. Lots of microclimates here in SNE due to different and varying types of terrain, and proximity to oceans and what not. When you’re close to the water, things are a lot different, than even 5-8 miles inland. And come 50 plus miles inland, and it’s different still. Nothing is fake if it’s actually happening at your locale is what I’m saying. Your area hasn’t froze yet. That’s legit and fact. Most other areas a little inland have, and several times already with temps in the low to mid 20’s. And that too is legit, and fact. Both can be right and happening simultaneously.
  4. Can’t wait for the first marginal event, and Kev gets his first solid/legit snow cover, while the rest of us get a quarter inch of slush, and white rain, that melts as soon as it stops precipitating. And when he tells us about it, and posts a picture of his nice white 2-3” snow cover, we can all tell him it’s fake, and nothing to get excited over. Because 99% of the area has no snow cover, so his is fake.
  5. Micro climate for sure in Tolland. 29 here and frozen again. Mums died in the last freeze here last week. Frosts and freezes very common this autumn. Along with 75 plus degree Indian Summer as well. What a Fall to say the least, if you like beautiful sunny weather.
  6. It’s felt like fall a lot this fall. And it’s felt like summer very often too. We’ve had a lot cold nights, along with a lot of warm nights too. The only thing we haven’t had a lot of is clouds and rain.
  7. That’s comical… Maybe you can call January from here too?
  8. Yes..put the mower away, Time to start thinking about sledding now…looking forward to it.
  9. Yes…agreed, this dry period will end as we move forward.
  10. Yes sir..she’s housed in Frenchville. But It’ll be heading to FKPS(Fort Kent Powersports) Tuesday for a factory recall. Ya, not as dry up there as here.
  11. Can’t be. Weren’t we told that the whole month was already just gonna be warm? And basically no chance of any thing remotely close to a wintry look.
  12. Agreed. Good point. 74 here for the high. Just a Beautiful day.
  13. The west was warm and extremely dry for a decade…guess it’s our turn for a while.
  14. It’s(the dry period) gonna end at some point…
  15. Lol…only 80 on that map for frying pan BDL, other than what looks to be Newark.
  16. Ok, that makes sense now. Thanks for the clarification.
