    We are the same age…78 is very vivid for me too. That was the benchmark here. But Feb 2013 delivered even more snow…so they are both the most impactful winter storms here now. Let’s see if this beast can match up to those two for my area.

    We tried to tell ‘em…. But I think some of that was about the extreme cold. But now we shift focus to extreme snowfall….winter 25-26 stepping it up further.

    Got home about 2 pm. LFG!! Looks like we’re on the verge of something memorable at the least. I am about 3 miles north of the blizzard warning lol…I’ll expect blizzard conditions.

    Was in Quebec in the Gaspe’ peninsula until Wednesday night sledding…then we re entered the states, and saw you guys had it under control, so just lurked and kept quiet. I’m liking what I’m seeing though…very exciting to say the least.

    A lot of bad tracks/cutters. Cold, warm up rain, cold again. Or front end snow to mix to freezing rain to rain, then get cold again and freeze everything up. Lots of good sledding/sliding back then for sure, due to the icy hard snow conditions. Lots of fun in that regard.
