Yup, Drought is over come this afternoon and tonight. Good call last week on this. We'll still have a deficit obviously, but the back of the drought is broken after today.

And that 2-4 is most Always a coating to an inch in real reality. But it makes it easier to take/sounds better to just say 2-4 and fool ones self.

5-10 inches this winter will be a Very Major storm for us SNE folks this year for sure....after a Ratter like last year, we pray for the 5-10 inchers for sure.

It is daylight, but if you have the cool/cold nights like we just had for 5-6 days in a row that certainly helps too. Quite a bit of color showing up here in inland CT already this early fall. Leaves are definitely going to peak early this year; and way earlier than last year.

Oh for sure...all good points no doubt. It's definitely one of the best pieces of guidance(probably still scores better than the rest)...but it's not what it used to be after it's last few supposed "Upgrades?" It used to be head and shoulders above the other junk...now it's come down quite a few notches towards the other minor league players. Oh well, all the best to Atlantic Canada.

Yup. You know how it goes...a couple model runs that showed a highly anomalous situation....and we all perked up and took note. But today it's back to something more reasonable. Having power stay on will be our reward for not getting it. Which is fine by me too.

Whatever they did to that poor model over the last 5 years, they should just go back and reverse it ALL, and put it back to where it was prior. They ruined it so bad.

He'd be thrilled to. But I agree with him. Now that models shifted back east some this morning...this is not a NE storm at all. Was fun to fantasize and speculate for a day/few hours. But I wouldn't be hoping this comes back west "Enough." We had our brush with tropical back on August 5th....that should do it for another decade or so.

You gotta play the odds...99% of the time it’s a whiff. This is no different, even if the track is very anomalous like it’s showing. And that track is much closer to Atlantic Canada, which modeling has shifted back to this morning. Don’t waste anymore time hoping...like Scott said he’s gone.
