  1. We’ve had no sun here the last week...grey and chilly/cold all week, and most of last week as well. It’s looked like November. If you’re having the sun out east, good for you guys. I don’t blame you all for loving that. But it’s not like that here at all.
  2. Ok gotcha. I’m not too worried about an OP run 5-7 days out. I know the ensembles stepped back some last night on next Friday...but we’re 7 days out, I mean that’s an eternity. Who knows..no worries either way.
  3. Very well could be....have to account for it no doubt.
  4. Didn’t you just say the pattern sucks and blows now, and next week it just blows? So blows means good lol? I’m A tad confused.
  5. We could get skunked...it’s always a possibility. Yesterday showed us how it can be if things can break right. Today is showing us what happens if they don’t break right. Be prepared for either scenario.
  6. Oh so now you’re gonna melt on the Eve of a pattern change? C’mon You’re better than that. Blocking is not the holy grail some of you think it is, as you’ve seen over the last few weeks. Need a lot more than just pretty orange colors over/west of Greenland to get good snow. It can definitely help when other things are in play, but need those other things too.
  7. Wow..you’re all in Luke. Nice to see. You were very down on the winter’s potential back in late November I remember.
  8. Yes not too many interstates running in that direction up that way lol. Millinocket is very good most times. About another 3 hrs north of millinocket is where I stay/ride. Every area up there needs more snow still...hoping Saturday works out up there for them, and for you too :-).
  9. Ya that’s about right. Making good time It’s About 2hrs and 45min from here to the Piscataquis River bridge that brings you to the ME boarder. Then 6 plus hrs from there to the top of the crown/St Hohn Valley. Big ride, but great place to sled.
  10. Lol 9-10 hrs..it’s a day in the truck. Good weather/roads and no stopping to eat about 9hrs. But any type of winter weather that impacts speed, or stop for breakfast/lunch it’s 10 hrs or more easily. About 565 miles one way.
  11. Wow Lol that’s nothing ..nice for you. I’ll be following this closely.
  12. Yup, let’s keep this east and lock in the colder air for NNE/ME. How far is Rangely for you...2hrs?
  13. Northern Aroostook may cash in with this more southeast idea. Hoping so.
  14. Looks like she may hold longer than first thought...We Take for sure.
  15. Imo Might be a tad too early to tell where they may track, if they even materialized at this juncture. But the potential Is there.
  16. We take..now let’s bring it.
  17. Good points. I get it. Oh well, we’ll get what we get. It’s a decent looking set up(not perfect). Let’s roll the dice. If it comes up a ratter..then let the Rants fly baby. Two years in a row.
  18. In the end...it’s(Hadley Cell) just another thing to consider. Not the end all be all by any means.
  19. How likely is that to actually happen...every single one of them? I mean at some point something has to creep north....No? Although that’s the definition of a ratter I guess. We’ll see how it plays out.
  20. Absolutely agree. Was trying to bolster a little optimism is all.
  21. Just to put things in perspective a bit, it was still 2 weeks from now in ‘15, when the change in that season occurred. So as Gynxy pointed out, we’ve been here and done this before. Let’s see how this evolves over the next couple weeks? Maybe we strike out again...but at least it looks to be changing for the better.
  22. Instead of Farts and Bagels...How were the 18z Ensembles?
