There is no reason at all to really believe anything like that. I mean, we can’t tell what two weeks from now might do, let alone a year, and now two years? This is quite silly.

Well, to be fair…we still Have 3.5 weeks left of January, and a whole month of February before we even get to March. And I’m just as irritated with this BS as anybody, and I’m not sensing anything good in the near future, but there is still a huge chunk of winter(the majority of it actually) left to play out. We may not make average(but it’s certainly not all that impossible to do with the time we have left in SNE), but it feels like a rat that’s for sure at the moment. And average snow seems far off at this moment. Like others have said….just give us one major storm, and then let it Rat.

Would be nice. We won’t be holding our breath. Most likely just a tease.

It’s Toast Ant. Ironically this Went to crap the same day(a Friday..And a week out), just 3 weeks later, like the last big threat did, on a Friday, the 16th of December(and that one was a week out too when it shit the bed). Sensing a pattern here…

I’ve had enough now. I lived through the 80’s, as you did, this is eerily familiar as I said before. Back then it was always something, Always, that would sabotage a potential. And here we are again. Sure there were a few good ones over the decade….but it would always be something to kill a threat.

So now we’re on the same page. I needed a good month to see the whites of its eyes. But I won’t complain after this. It is what it is. I have a cabin rented in N. Maine for Jan, Feb and March…just need them to get some snow at some point. And they will. I get your vacation plans…but if the snow doesn’t work, just go have fun with your wife and friends anyway.

I agree with that. But like I said, nobody will convince me this hasn’t happened before, or will happen again. It’s a cycle. It’ll eventually go the other way too. I hear ya. But resigning myself it’s a non starter. If it changes, I’ll be pleasantly surprised, if not, I’m already prepared. I said these things this morning . Exact same set up with regard to the days of the week, which just two weeks ago today the xmas storm went to dung on Friday the 23rd.
