  1. They aren’t at all…but you’d swear they were by the way some base their ideas, and posts.
  2. But the problem is there are some that think exactly that(indicative).
  3. He’s expecting a bottom 3 I’m sure lol…..all kidding aside I think average is certainly attainable for most areas in SNE. And that will seem huge after last year.
  4. Frost can happen at 33-34 degrees. 42 here now ..we got a shot, but it’ll be the coldest night so far either way.
  5. Dam…we’ve had quite a many here just since 2013. I mean 2011 was absolutely epic. close to 36” lol Feb 13. 12”+ Jan 15. 12”+ in Dec 20. 12”+ in Feb 21. 12”+ in Jan 18. 12”+ March 18. 12”+ Feb 17. 12”+. March 17. Dam Don…your area must be a snow hole lol.
  6. Yup. He(Brett)doesn’t understand how it was..was brutal. He ain’t seen nothing yet. And I hope we don’t come close to those years.
  7. Well the November 89 was T. Giving…And it snowed well into the day time with that one.
  8. It was very impressive….especially for the date. Days leading up were very mild too. Was hard to believe it was coming. But it came indeed.
  9. Nahhh…no way. It was for many years on end then. I/we lived it. This ain’t even close yet. Let’s so hope it doesn’t get there either.
  10. Nov 89 was the thanksgiving day storm…snowed all morning…was riding my sled all over the neighborhood that T Giving morning. 82-83 and 83-84 were pretty good. I mean spring of ‘82 we had the April blizzard…was Incredible. Late 70’s rocked big time.
  11. Ya, as I said the last few days, the foliage has really rallied. Folks sold it off way too early. It’s quite nice in SNE now, with some very beautiful color to be seen.
  12. T Giving in 89 had a very nice snowstorm too. That led to a frigid December. Rest of the winter didn’t do to well, but it was cold at that time.
  13. Just to add a little perspective…I remember November of ‘02 being very mild for a stretch(I remember because I was riding my Harley a few days and it was gorgeous(like late spring gorgeous). So I looked back, and it was the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th that were exceptionally warm, especially for 2nd week of November. The 10th was 69-70, and the 11th was 66 or so. The 8th and 9th were mid 60’s as well. A couple weeks later on the night before T Giving we had snow into T giving morning if I remember right. And then that winter ended up being a very good one for SNE(winter 02-03). Just some food for thought. And before anybody says I’m angry or whatever about the warm days….just know I’m gonna enjoy this nice warm up…I have no issues with it whatsoever.
  14. You’re starting to piss me off pal…go stick your records in your a$$. I hope we break every f’n one of em..how’s that grab ya. And Contrary to what you’re insinuating, I have zero issues with the warm up/or record breaking warm up(that’s not even here yet, yet it’s record breaking lol)as you’re calling it. Today It’s a quintessential autumn day here….52-53 degrees, cool and breezy with partly cloudy skies…feels great. We’ve been stepping down slowly but surely…And more of that will be here at Halloween or right about then. And BTW, go back in your own pathetic forum.
  15. The step down has begun…we get a nice warm up this week(gladly take it), then step down takes another step by months end. All going as it should.
  16. Spot on. Plenty of great color out there. We’ve said ad-nauseam that it isn’t a banner year at all. But it is plenty decent to quite good now in many spots. Mother Nature did not deny us some beautiful color.
  17. Wind fail for sure. But…No foliage fail here. Actually foliage triumphant now. Looking dam good in that department. The cool down is coming…just have to be patient.
  18. Ya…99% of the time you take the under on any wind in SNE…that’s a given. Yet some folks always fall for the pretty big numbers on the modeling. Im actually glad the wind didn’t materialize…keep the leaves up a little bit longer, especially since they are looking nice the last week or so.
  19. It’s not just the red maples…there’s good color. Not spectacular…but good. Much better than what it looked to be 2-4 wks ago. Point is, it wasn’t gonna be rushed. The cool down won’t be either.
  20. Kind of like the foliage Kev…it looks very nice here now…the colors just took a little longer this fall. We sold off the foliage too quickly…I believe you’re doing the same here. The cool will come, let’s enjoy the nice weather this week. The November cool down is coming.
  21. I like it when you post like this…why not put it out there. I’d never throw a weenie for that . Thanks for sharing My Shepherd.
