    I agree with you. Ya, just trying to get reasonable and accurate info is all. It’s tough when some folks say things are slipping away, just looking for a MET to chime in and reassure them that it’s not. That’s the BS nobody needs.

    Question: doesn’t it take some time for any SSW affects to show up? Are we getting a PV split? Isn’t the big anomaly(PV) in SE Canada on modeling, a result of the SSW? Or no?

    Agreed. For sure keep expectations in check. We had a lot of blocking last year…didn’t help us at all either.

    Yup, Risk is always a possibility here…but we take our chances. We’ve had great looks a few time over the last couple years…And have come up empty. I’ll gladly entertain what’s coming.

    The difference is…the prog was way wrong. And the new prog is substantially cooler now than it was a few days ago. That’s the takeaway. If it makes you sleep better to not admit that, that’s cool too.

    No one is saying that…but the point is you were busting balls(and that’s fine)…but that prog won’t even be close to happening like it showed on the 29th now. And a couple days later has cooled significantly as well, and that’s a week out still, so that is still in question too.

    That’s just like the house I grew up in…front yard and front door faced due east too. So our backyard was due west. My room faced the front(East), but I had a side small crank out window that faced due north…in rain changing to mixed precip events, I’d run to my room to listen for any pingers on that north side, if we were forecast to change over. That window would give the first signal of any change over lol, and it took a hell of a beating. Sounds great Don…enjoy your time at both places.

    Well if your front yard faces southeast, then your back should be northwest right. If you’re looking at your backyard, then move to the right some…that should be north I’d imagine.
