    Nothing crazy..but it was getting breezy in the death bands, so it gave it an even better look, more of a driving look. But certainly not near enough to fracture the dendrites, and inhibit stacking/accumulations. And temps were fine..right around 30 degrees here. Was a beautiful event.

    We had 12.5” here, I bet we were going near that ratio too during the height of it…it was all fluffy dendrites, snowgrowth was gorgeous. They just stayed in the band a little longer, probably only about an hr or so, cuz that was easily 3.5”/hr rates.

    Which is Southington(one of 3 little local areas, that have their own Post Offices) but are all part of Southington.

    That’s what I was thinking too John, I mean it was clear this was gonna go nuts once the radar started coming together for CT. Kind of pathetic on their part.

    Ya we got downgraded overnight to a WWA lol…and then it starts snowing and goes bonkers, and they didn’t upgrade it back, kept it at a WWA, and we got 12.5” lmao. That’s pretty sad.

    Call it 12.5” here in Southington @The 4 Seasons. What a great storm. Some incredible rates. Pretty much what the modeling was showing for a few days here before the last minute shit show. But somehow it all worked this time…nice feeling for a change.

    Measured almost 9” 20 minutes ago…and it’s the heaviest yet. Wow what a band.

    Heading out now..gonna measure. Beautiful puffy dendrites still coming. Heavy snow. Gotta be between 8 and 10” by th looks of it. I’ll see soon.
