  1. Kinda out of nowhere. No advisery. no watch and then the warning shows up https://forecast.weather.gov/showsigwx.php?warnzone=MAZ001&warncounty=MAC003&firewxzone=MAZ001&local_place1=Pittsfield MA&product1=Winter+Storm+Warning&lat=42.4511&lon=-73.2526#.XJPtlShKiyI
  2. Just enough time to set up a radio show. lol
  3. This a question from the average public layman. Regarding all the different weather models, they all have their own parameters and bias in processing the same data I believe. But generally they do not agree on much until maybe the very last hours before a potential weather event. Toss this run and then toss that run. Have we all come to accept that these models are the best we can have and so they all are just accepted as is? Will there ever be a model that is not quirky? Thanks
  4. Pretty close to the Albany, NY news stations for this area
  5. I have lurked on this site and the old Eastern site for years. I have rarely posted because my knowledge of weather leans toward the level of The Farmers Almanac. And perhaps mistaken faith in this type of forecast. http://mysterious-hills.blogspot.com/2009/12/greylock-was-his-barometer-levi-beebe.html But with all the nervousness here with the lack of snow, I feel I might be to blame. The reason being that my snow blower is all tuned up and ready to rip. Therefore causing the darth of snow. Sorry
