  1. That is not true. It has happened but percentages are way low
  2. Go back and read it. He said SE would be normal to +1, I don't believe that is a torch. In August he said winter was coming a lot earlier than what most think. He said again in Oct that from Thanksgiving to Christmas would be colder than last year. He has been saying since Christmas warm up around latter part of Jan and then cold coming back. Problem is everybody thinks he predicts their back yard. He is about patterns. Enjoy the weather its the only weather you got
  3. Pre Emergent useless unless ground temp is 55degrees Save your money
  4. I hear ya. Hadnt been wrong on pattern but u know that. Maybe we both get ome snow or ice monday and agin late week. If not enjoy the warm up coming
  5. Don't quote the met you criticize all the time. Lol you following him
  6. Average in Winston Salem is around 9 inches per year. We generally get at least one event per year generally in Jan-Feb
  7. As long as you have water you can plant trees and shrubs year round including in the middle if hot summer. We do it all the time with no issues.
  8. Sorry I haven't been on here. We use dimension and barricade and they are found at Site One. I recommend the split app which is one now and another in April. There are an abundance of weeds already growing due to the warm winter but should eliminate others if you spray and pre emerge now. www.sharpedgelawncare.com or fb sharp edge lawncare & Management
  9. Pre-emergent is for broad leaf weeds as well as crabgrass. With the warm temps in Nov and Dec there have been abundance of weeds already in lawns throughout the Piedmont. We generally put out pre emergent starting feb 1 as we use multiple applications. If using one application need to wait until March 1 or around 15th if possible but all depends where you are at. Charlotte definitely needs to be out asap. Dimension and barricade are best for lawns
  10. I like them all but I'm a contractor so I'm greedy. I have been involved with two major ice storm with no power for 8 days at a time
  11. Your right. They destroy a lawn with it every where. Nowhere to walk or kids to play
  12. yep not bad at all for 22. I am glad they like feeding them. Those things are a nuisance. They have a chemical we have sprayed to keep them off of customers lawns. It doesn't hurt them at all. It makes the grass sticky and they can't stand that so they go to the neighbor's lawn.
  13. We use to have a pop up. Loved it. Now have a fifth wheel. We camp alot
  14. nothing better than kids I have a 8 year old son and a 2 year old girl.. Definitely daddy's girl
