Sickening seeing heavy snow for the first time really this winter knowing it's gonna turn to rain after a couple inches. So sick of winters altogether. Haven't had a really good storm since 2010 imo. None that I can remember.
Well I have to get a hotel, so I'd like the hotel to be in the sweet spot. 25 miles could be the difference in 12" or 30" seems like Hartford or Worcester would be a pretty safe bet.
Was supposed to drive over there from Ohio to view this thing. Starting to wonder if it's a good thing I didnt. The GFS last night concerned me even with the error it had. But these east shifts are making me glad I didn't travel that way yet. Was gonna leave at 6am. Maybe the euro will leave hope but as difficult as this forecast is becoming it may be too much risk to drive 10hrs. Still will be significant but not like 13' if these shifts keep happening. Good luck to you all though. I know I had a blast chasing the one in 2013 just not sure if this one will be worth the 10 hour trip. Hope it comes to fruition for you all.
I hear that. I was heading from Warsaw (my house) to Coshocton relatively short drive of 9 miles, to take my wife out for her lunch break, go about 2 miles and started to slide off the road and said nope not doing it and came back home lol
Good to have ya back on board, was opeful that everyone would find there way here. Heck I logged on to eastern and it was read only, I about got sick. lol
