  1. Anyone have what the temperatures departures finished in January across upstate? I know we were running quite warm, but it sure seemed like a nice winter month in the northwest Catskills.
  2. 3” early yesterday. 8” when I went out to plow at 1:15. 1.5” while I plowed from 1:15-2:00. Heavy band moving out now, but no complaints! And it started with poor snow growth this afternoon but was great during the heavy band, same as crashing Eric.
  3. Nice snowy lunchtime walk in Delhi. Maybe 1" so far.
  4. 3" overnight at my house somehow. Not sure where it came from, but I'll take it!
  5. Beautiful squall came through Delhi on my lunchtime walk. Probably dropped 1" in 25 minutes or so. Slowly building a pack here, guessing 4" in the valleys and close to a foot on the hilltops.
  6. Your shovel is not in a great spot... Most snowmobile clubs on the hill are reporting 6"-12"+ over most of the hill.
  7. That's been almost every day here in the Catskills the past 2 weeks. A snowflake falls once in awhile so I guess that makes it better.
  8. Pictures from yesterday. Take away the grinch storm and we’d be having a great start to winter here.
  9. Sorry Bills fans, no Cuomo at the game. https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2021/01/gov-cuomo-will-not-attend-buffalo-bills-playoff-game-because.html?fbclid=IwAR1Ly8Q5iZrFU-et1oI9fvy1AIfebL0zi74WZn1EhBbC6ObirHpQ-a2rlIc
  10. I didn't get a good measurement this morning, but probably 5" or so. Nice little surprise.
  11. 27” on the ground here a week ago! 50° currently.
  12. Why are there river flood warnings already? I figured they’d wait until the rain at least got here and the streams at least started coming up?
  13. So the GFS everyone here liked for this storm was too far south and East? I think I’ve seen this before?
  14. -9 the low here. I’d advise caution to anyone looking at the GFS for details. It was the worst model for this last storm, constantly showing the storm the further south and East and I think we all know where the storm went.
  15. 16" at 4:00, then 11" more in a cleared area between 4:00 and 7:00. 26" on the ground at 7. Not the jackpot but a great storm!
