I checked with last years temps and us in the southeast didn't get our first frost until early Dec. Inland from us got it in mid Nov.

Warm and humid out there today. Currently it is 75/70. When will the cool fall air come and stay.

Had a surprise rainstorm earlier this afternoon. Picked up .33".

New month, new stats. Post them here. Let's hope for cooler weather. Started the morning at 58. Currently just after 12 it is 74. EDIT: Ended up with a high of 79.

Had a surprise storm drop .18" this afternoon. Low of 64, high of 85 before the rain.

Low of 54, high of 82. Warmer today but humidity remains very low. At 36% right now.

Low of 56, high of 75. Absolutely beautiful fall day. Loving this weather. Unfortunately the 80's are returning very soon.

Looks very dry for the next 10 days at least.

Picked up .31" last night and .33" this morning. Temp sitting at 70 but with the dew point at 65, it still feels very humid out.

Picked up .46" today which brings me to 5.54" for the month.

Picked up .28" overnight and another .08" just a bit ago. This brings me up to 5.08" for the month.

Well the big cooldown for next week has become much less of a cooldown. For our area the forecast has gone from the low 70's for highs and low 50's for low to upper 70's to around 80 for highs and lows in the low 60's. Better than now but not the cooldown I was hoping for. Guess I will have to wait for Oct.

Well, rain has finally stopped and we have ended up with 3.48" for the day. A huge surprise for us considering the airport just 5 miles away got nothing. First storm dumped .99" and the 2nd 2.49". Amazing day.

Currently experiencing our 2nd downpour of the day. 1st one dropped .99". 2nd one looks like it will easily beat that as I am already up to 1.81 for the day. Quit unusual that the storms are coming in from the north.

Nope, no sign of a good strong front. The haziness is from the smoke from distant fires.

Low of 59, high of 86 and continued dryness.

Low of 58, high of 82 and dry. First morning in the 50's since June 1st.

Low of 65, high of 78. Our second day in a row with a high in the upper 70's. Not too bad for early Sept. Dew points were in the 50's all day. Very comfortable.
