21.8 was the high today...at the 7 am weather report for the day. Been bouncing between 19 and 20 all day with W winds 15-30 mph. Record 'cool max' is 19 from 1983, so that stands, but this will go in as 2nd, ahead of the 22 from 1985. Currently at 5:30 19.2 degrees with a 8.1 DP, wind is W at 13 gusting 22 with a WC of 6 degrees, about where it has been all day.
I always appreciate your reports, Merry Christmas! Can you remind me what your elevation is. Thanks!

just a reminder:
light snow means your visibility is between 3/4 mile and 4 miles.
moderate snow means your visibility is 1/2 mile.
heavy snow means your visibility is 1/4 mile or less.
My visibility is about 150 yards right now.

So I've started looking at places to move in the next year and I've narrowed it down to Waterford, Round Hill, Purcellville, Hamilton and your area. Expensive but so dang pretty
I just built a log home on the side of the hill off of Harpers Ferry Road on a 20 acre parcel at 725'. I love it out here. I have worked for Loudoun County Health Dept. for 23 years. I put an access road in that's 2600' long and my driveway is 800' to the side of the hill.

Best storm of the year for me. No hail, but incredible rain rates and wind gusts that are easily over 50mph.
