  1. Yeah i mean I don't even f*ck with FL Ave mostly except to get from my apt to Conn Ave if I am going north (FL starts at 22nd and Mass Ave). I get the whole city beautiful movement, and this is obviously something L'Enfant couldn't have imagined, but you take our city design and add MD drivers - I mean it's a problem.

  7. my mom just sent a picture from the west end of staunton - looks to be 10-12" there. Pretty solid.

  10. anyone in the central shenandoah valley (staunton/h-burg)? I'm headed back to my parents on tues, wondering how they are doing. I chatted with my mom around 6pm and it looked like they had about 6".
  11. freaking deluge downtown. we had a nice walk in the heavy snow with our daughters earlier today - so it's all good here. I'm closing in on an inch of rain tho and the wind is roaring. Pressure locally around 993/994 mb
  12. Penn Ave is holding tough too. Although my side street is totally covered.
  13. Rosslyn has mostly disappeared from view. Vis is down under a mile i'd say.

  15. when Sandy made landfall in AC, I remember the local sites in NYC getting down into the 960s. It was wild.
