  1. I watched a documentary about the '93 Storm of the Century and they talked about how the computer models nailed it three or four days ahead of time. Almost 30 years later and here we are....
  2. HAHA the GFS operational has no clue. It may be the worst global out there right now.

  4. It's hilarious that anyone takes it seriously. I'm not sure it's even good for seeing trends.
  5. Interesting article. I know many of us probably feel frustration when trying to talk about the weather in a rational way. Everyone seems to only want to use catch phrases.   7. Uh, '94 was amazing. I was at PSU Altoona. Obviously I was north of the gradient. We can only hope.

  9. I was living in Maryland at the time and I remember my car being literally encased in ice. Hours of sleet followed by frigid temperatures. I couldn’t get into it or move it.
  10. I'm thinking the maple sugaring season in the northeast will be non-existent this year. You can't have a sap run if you have no winter.
