I watched a documentary about the '93 Storm of the Century and they talked about how the computer models nailed it three or four days ahead of time. Almost 30 years later and here we are....

Interesting article. I know many of us probably feel frustration when trying to talk about the weather in a rational way. Everyone seems to only want to use catch phrases. The GFS Is like a kid who didn’t study choosing C on every question.

I was living in Maryland at the time and I remember my car being literally encased in ice. Hours of sleet followed by frigid temperatures. I couldn’t get into it or move it.
