  1. The gang is all back together. Let the winter months commence!
  2. Honestly, I put all my money on deform bands hitting within 10 miles of MDT. It seems the past 6 or 7 years we are deform band kings.
  3. CTP had MDT at 2-4”. That’s aggressive from then, keeping up the trend of conservative forecasters pushing all chips in.
  4. Eric Horst is impressed with this setup fwiw.
  5. Good to see you here. How’s life in Midland?
  6. That's what she sa ... Hey I just realized the Euro is doing 6z and 18z runs now. Sweet.
  7. Harrisburg had 8.5” on Oct 26 a few years ago. It can definitely pile up here.
  8. That $4.74 isn't going to get you much of a snowstorm (remember he has a daughter in college!). I like MDT to get 1.5" of snow/sleet mix. Falling as the sun sets only makes it more fun. If you're north, say State College and up, you probably end up with a plowable snowfall. Giddy up, kids!
  9. I think Thursday morning might be a messy commute for most of us.
  10. Can we keep the cold air in place? That's the billion snowshovel question.
  11. Looks possible especially the more SE you go.
  12. You were in Bogata - my mother was born there. That’s one of the most out-of-the-way, why-the-hell-does-anyone-live-here places in this country.
  13. MDT added an additional .5” between 9 p.m. and midnight to finish the day at 1.96”.
  14. Yea looks like we can start tracking late next week - probably for naught but it beats the summer!
  15. Houston sucks. Pearland is strip mall hell. UGH. Might get upper 70s today. Record high for KMDT today is 84 back in 1950, that's crazy hot.
  16. Haha. When you were there in Pasadena, you were about 3 miles from my brother's home.
  17. Yea we might miss all the wind and end less than 1”. That’d be a pretty big bust of it we’re 20 degrees colder.
  18. I LOVE that map above and its “35-100 inches” zone.
  19. So my parents are on a cruise ship that is scheduled to dock in Cape Liberty tomorrow morning. They're flying out "supposedly" at 3 p.m. from EWR. With those winds - and not knowing Cape Liberty's port setup - can they actually dock a massive cruise ship in those projected winds?
  20. In fact, here is that Cantore thunder snow live shot. It's worth watching.
