  1. Hey @sauss06 I told you it’s not just smoked meats. Here is a lemon, lavender and sweet cream snowcone. PA needs real snowcones - the junk they have like Rita’s is trash.
  2. Even Michael Jordan had to take mid-game breaks.
  3. The fires out west will do the damage and make it uninhabitable before the lack of water.
  4. Wife went to the senators game yesterday and said it felt like 100 in the sun - she got burnt through her clothes.
  5. Dallas / East Texas area now but in Houston this weekend.
  6. 89 here at 9:15 local time. It might break 80 briefly around 5 am lol
  7. I’ve been paying attention down here (to see if the wedding will be in a TS) but haven’t looked at any steering conditions after Saturday night. Thanks. .
  8. So I fly home Monday night. What’s this tropical stuff I have seen in passing?
  9. It’s 102 at my parents. But this was lunch.
  10. I’m carrying a bucket on the plane to catch my sweat.
  11. But it's a dry heat! I'm headed to 70-80 dewpoints lol
  12. I leave for Texas tomorrow. Let's check out the local forecast ... Wednesday Sunny and hot, with a high near 99. Heat index values as high as 103. 13. Everything exploded just across the border to the SE. Atmosphere changed and they got the goods that were supposed to be here.
  14. Yes, SPC missed today up here. I can’t read ,all well enough to see what prevented instability - cape numbers were great, wave was timed well, etc
  15. Looks like some moist air shot up and killed instability - 95 and DC might get hammered now instead of the LSV.
  16. Conditions are setting up very favorable to some discrete cells all throughout the LSV with that line that's out toward Pittsburgh. It's moving into better conditions and already pretty potent.
  17. The rest of the state (well Scranton south) is now in a t-storm watch until 9 p.m.
  18. Western part of this region has another bluebox. And a t-storm watch covers a ton of the western part of the state (basically the other side of Dauphin County to Ohio).
  19. I didn’t look at radar at 2 am but all the action was to the west sky so this makes sense.
  20. It was loud and bright! Not much rain at all - less than .05". MDT didn't get a drop.
  21. So we may get a shower but the LSV appears to be completely left out to dry today. The system didn’t materialize so the warm/cool aloft aren’t going to bring downpours as predicted.
  22. There are currently 21 different severe tstorm warnings from Texas to PA.
  23. CTP has hinted at that since early this am.
