Winds are now in the 40s. We always overdue wind.

That seems absolutely unfathomable. In other news, it's WINDY. Steady 30-35 mph winds.

Clocks jump forward in a week. To me that's the sign to stop hunting for snow.

Well good news there - outside a March 4-10 window winter seems like it will be basically over.

Just a trace earlier - nothing on the roads or even cars by our stepping stones and grass/mulch had a coating.

Awww let me have fun. My true favorite is that El Paso is closer to the Pacific Ocean than the Gulf of Mexico. It also takes 11 hours to drive from my parents’ place to El Paso haha

Dallas is closer to Chicago than El Paso.

Also more winds Thursday and Friday. Gusts into the mid to upper 30s and constant around 15-20 likely. It’s still in the mid 20s so only one day of “reprieve”.

I think sustained winds got us there. IIRC it had to be sustained to 3 minutes or something. My highest gust was 59. Harrisburg’s was 56.

Rooting for next Monday to be dry. Have to lead a walking tour in nyc and I’d rather not fight umbrellas.

I for some reason was thinking 2019 started in February but that’s right it was March. Still, that’s 6! years ago. Crazy.

This afternoon the warmth ha subdued for sure. We’ll see! I’m at 16.2” snow on the year. Hope that’s not my total but kinda feel it is.

Signs of a real torch after next week though. I can’t remember the last March snowstorm we had. It seems like it’s been years.

More strong winds Friday it seems. We are in the strong winds every 4-5 day season. It last through March. It’s awful.

Best burger around is Rubicon but that’s a fancy one. My second fav is Burger Yum.
