The west needs as much moisture as it can get, I'll gladly punt a winter if they can get some drought relief. That's a far bigger need. (That said the flooding they're experiencing is devastating).
Was home more than ever the last 3 years cause Covid and a sick kitten. She passed away last week (still heartbroken) so more travel now. Lots in the works.

What’s the timing for that system next week? We’ll be in NYC for Broadway shows - shouldn’t be an issue but might need to monitor to leave earlier if snow causes train issues (usually not an issue)
Funny, I’m the opposite. Big storms are great but if that’s it regardless the size winter to me is non existent. That 2010-11 winter where we got ~3” snow every Wednesday or so for two months was perfect.
