What year did we get blanked completely when we had a WSW? That was awful. The state closed for nothing.

CTP forecast for me now has less than an inch of snow. And imo that’s being aggressive lol. That WSW is strange because the totals don’t even reach the base watch criteria.

GFS is north? It’s basically over for us then. Oh well, I never had hope at least.

CTP issuing WSW for HBG is insane to me. Maybe they just wanted to jolt people that it won’t be 60 next week (instead above 40 every f’n day with no cold air in sight))

I truthfully don’t buy it. We’ll have some snow fall but unless it’s a white out accumulation will be very , very hard. It’s not going to be cold at all. It sucks. Edit: I pray I’m dead wrong. I want to eat crow.

You’re in a good spot I think. Nothing to stop the warm air winning out here below say State College (or better said the cold air settling in). Might see some snow fall but it’ll be mostly all rain, I think. 40 and rain, woooooo. We prob don’t even get cooler than 35 Monday overnight.

This is what I think happens. I’m shocked they issued a WSW down here. Even that wording mentioned any north shift means all rain. Maybe they did it since everyone thinks winter is done after this last week.

I stand with my assumption this is an elevation event and anyone in any valley or not on a ridge gets no accumulation

I don’t buy any of these snow maps with the temps. I hope I’m wrong but I expect hardly any accumulation here with no elevation.

Temps were always going to be an issue and they look incredibly marginal at best. I guess snow falling is better than rain falling so I won’t complain.

If the GFS was ever to kick the Euro's ass, a Presidents' Day storm should be the time.

Today was chaos with the budget address so I haven’t been able to read anything. We still looking at a decent shot of a storm in mid to late month?
