CTP issuing WSW for HBG is insane to me. Maybe they just wanted to jolt people that it won’t be 60 next week (instead above 40 every f’n day with no cold air in sight))

I truthfully don’t buy it. We’ll have some snow fall but unless it’s a white out accumulation will be very , very hard. It’s not going to be cold at all. It sucks. Edit: I pray I’m dead wrong. I want to eat crow.

You’re in a good spot I think. Nothing to stop the warm air winning out here below say State College (or better said the cold air settling in). Might see some snow fall but it’ll be mostly all rain, I think. 40 and rain, woooooo. We prob don’t even get cooler than 35 Monday overnight.

This is what I think happens. I’m shocked they issued a WSW down here. Even that wording mentioned any north shift means all rain. Maybe they did it since everyone thinks winter is done after this last week.

I stand with my assumption this is an elevation event and anyone in any valley or not on a ridge gets no accumulation

I don’t buy any of these snow maps with the temps. I hope I’m wrong but I expect hardly any accumulation here with no elevation.

Temps were always going to be an issue and they look incredibly marginal at best. I guess snow falling is better than rain falling so I won’t complain.

It's windy though so feels much cooler in the sun than yesterday.

Went on a 5 mile walk and I wore shorts. I wish I’d worn a t shirt instead of a hoodie - got quite sweaty. Outdoor temp in direct sun at a bank said 68. My high was 53.

Def not planting but things I the ground should start waking up middle of this next week. It happens even when we aren’t in a torch - sun is quite warm these days.

Should hit 50 today. 47 at 1. High was 46. Next weekend looks very spring like. Showed and 60s. Growing season starting up I presume.

Nothing noteworthy. A friend did send me some beer from Honolulu Beerworks though and they’re quite good.
